Charleston Mayor Joe Riley says it's hard to understand the magnitude of loss after nine firefighters died in a blaze at a furniture store last night.  Riley says the firefighters were "brave, heroic, courageous" and died carrying out their duties.  The bodies were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina for positive identification. Riley says the names will be released after the identities are confirmed.  Two employees were rescued from the blaze, which started about 7 o'clock last night at the Sofa Super Store and warehouse.  Riley called the loss of so many firefighters "unbelievable." The mayor says there is --no-- indication of arson. He says it appears to have started in a storage area in the back of the store.  State and federal officials are investigating.  Firefighters battled a massive furniture store fire at the Sofa Superstore on savannah Highway.  Eyewitnesses say the fire appears to have started in the back of the store. People on the scene reported that the building collapsed.
