An Oklahoma cheerleading coach is recovering after being attacked with a stun gun.

Bethany Lorenz was walking to her car outside of Putnam City High School when a woman approached her and began asking questions about the cheerleading squad.

Lorenz says that as she was getting into her car the woman pulled out a stun gun and began shocking her, without warning.

She was able to end the attack by rolling the woman's arm up in her Jeep's window.

The woman managed to pull free and run away before anyone could respond to Lorenz's cries for help.

Several others witnessed the attack, and said the woman had been waiting in the parking lot for several minutes before approaching Lorenz.
